With the Perfect Flame SLG2007D, you have three great methods of cooking: the standard gas burners will allow you to grill in a conventional manner, using your own tips and tricks, the Rotisserie is there for a specifically juicy, self-basted roast cooked evenly and without charring, and for a faster cooking, there is the side infrared burner (also sold separately).
If cleaning two grills for a single cooking project is not such a big deal for you, you could begin with the infrared grill (which really needs a bit of wiping of the porcelain plate to be clean) and then finish the job with the gas burners or the Rotisserie.
